Address: Bührenerstrasse 15B, 26670 Uplengen, Germany
E-mail: info@manemap.app | Phone: +49 177 4957900

2) No Substitute for Professionals
ManeMap and the AI assistant “Milo” provide organizational support and general information on horse keeping and management. They are under no circumstances a substitute for examination, diagnosis, or treatment by veterinarians, farriers, or trainers. Never ignore professional advice based on information from the app.
3) AI Transparency / Errors Possible
You are interacting with an artificial intelligence. Milo may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Outputs depend in particular on the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide, as well as on the context (e.g. weather/environment data).
4) No Emergency Service / No Real-Time Monitoring
ManeMap and Milo are not an emergency service. There is no 24/7 monitoring, no real-time analysis of vital signs, and no guarantee of response times. “Smart Tags” are used solely for contextual prioritization, not for medical monitoring.
5) EMERGENCIES – act immediately
If there are signs of an acute life-threatening condition or severe pain (e.g. colic, respiratory distress, severe bleeding/open wound, severe lameness, poisoning, heatstroke, choke):
Do not rely on the app. Stop using it immediately and contact a veterinarian, veterinary emergency service, or an equine clinic without delay.
6) Medication, Pre-Existing Conditions & Sensitive Situations
Milo does not provide diagnoses, treatment plans, or dosage or medication instructions. If your horse is on medication or has pre-existing conditions (e.g. laminitis/founder, respiratory disease), any changes to training, feeding, or routine may only be made after consulting a veterinarian.
7) Personal Responsibility & On-Site Safety
Training and handling suggestions are non-binding. What always matters is the horse’s condition, footing, weather/heat, tack and equipment, surroundings, and your own ability. If in doubt: no training/no riding and seek professional help.
8) Liability (statutory boundaries; consumer protection)
Our Terms of Use apply. We are liable without limitation in cases of intent, gross negligence, and for culpable injury to life, body, or health. In cases of simple negligence, we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal duties), and limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. Mandatory liability, in particular under the Product Liability Act, remains unaffected.
Note: These safety & liability notices supplement the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy on our Legal page.
