2) No Substitute for Professional Advisory Services

ManeMap and the AI assistant "Milo" provide organizational support and general information regarding horse care and stable management. They are by no means a substitute for examination, diagnosis, or treatment by veterinarians, farriers, or equine trainers. Never disregard professional advice based on information found in the app.

3) AI Transparency / Risk of Error

You are interacting with artificial intelligence. Milo's output may be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading. Responses depend heavily on the accuracy and completeness of your inputs as well as the external context (e.g., weather or environmental data).

4) No Emergency Support / No Real-Time Monitoring

ManeMap and Milo are not emergency services. This platform does not provide 24/7 monitoring, real-time vital sign tracking, or guaranteed response times. "Smart Tags" are purely for context prioritization within the app, not for medical monitoring.

5) EMERGENCIES – Act Immediately

If your horse shows signs of acute distress, life-threatening symptoms, or severe pain (e.g., colic, respiratory distress, severe bleeding/open wounds, acute lameness, poisoning, heatstroke, esophageal choke):

Do not rely on the app. Stop using the app immediately and contact your veterinarian, veterinary emergency service, or equine hospital without delay.

6) Medications, Pre-existing Conditions & Critical Scenarios

Milo does not provide diagnoses, treatment plans, dosing schedules, or medication instructions. If your horse is on medication or suffers from pre-existing conditions (e.g., laminitis, chronic respiratory issues), any changes to training, feeding, or daily routine must be discussed with your veterinarian first.

7) Personal Responsibility & Ground Safety

All training and handling suggestions are non-binding recommendations. The safety of you and your horse always depends on the horse's current condition, ground conditions, weather/heat, equipment, surroundings, and your own level of experience. If you are ever unsure: halt training or riding immediately and seek professional on-site help.

8) Liability & Legal Framework (Consumer Protection)

Our Terms of Use apply. We assume unlimited liability in cases of intent, gross negligence, and culpable injury to life, limb, or health. In cases of simple negligence, we are only liable for the breach of essential contractual duties (cardinal obligations), limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. Mandatory statutory liability, particularly under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz), remains unaffected.
